Raspberry-Jalapeno Margarita

There's nothing quite as thirst quenching as a well-crafted margarita.  I've been on a spicy cocktail kick recently, and when we came up with our new Pink Slip Gourmet product, Raspberry Simple Syrup, I just knew that I had to combine them somehow.  Enter the raspberry-jalapeno margarita.  It does NOT disappoint!


Raspberry-Jalapeno Margarita

Makes 2 drinks

4 oz (1/2 cup) good quality blanco Tequila

6 oz (3/4 cup) fresh squeezed lime juice

2 oz (1/4 cup) raspberry simple syrup

1 raw jalapeno, sliced

In a pitcher, vigorously stir the tequila, lime juice and simple syrup.  Pour over a glass full of ice.  Add as many jalapenos as you can handle and stir again.  Enjoy!
