Chateau des Fleurs: A Boutique Parisian Escape
There are few things I love more when traveling than finding a gem of a hotel, especially when it is a boutique hotel. I just love a place with fewer rooms, more character and friendly service. Château des Fleurs in the 8th arrondissement checks all those boxes and more. Just off the hustle and bustle of the Champs-Élysées sits this respite for travelers with discerning taste in hotels. I was introduced to the property via Zoom and fell in love with it. When I told the presenter I would be in Paris the following week, she offered to host me for the night in one of their premium suites. What a dream come true!
I was greeted by name, offered a refreshment, and given an actual key, which always makes me very happy.
The lobby houses a beautiful, well-stocked bar and gourmet restaurant. If I were local, this bar would be where you found me on a Friday evening. Upscale ambiance, but not elitist, this is the perfect place to wind down after a day of shopping or sightseeing.
A large king sized bed with a soaking tub tucked away in one corner and a spacious seating area in the other made for a wonderful place to relax.
It's always a treat to have place to sit and reflect on the day. The interesting art and posh furniture next to the in-room bar in my suite set high standards for future stays at other boutique hotels.
The colored glass that separated the soaking tub from the walk-in shower was an intricate detail that did not go unnoticed. This is the beauty of small, prestigious hotels. They are able to truly make unique touches to the rooms that set them apart from larger brands.
The double vanity bathroom connects to a very large walk-through closet. Across a small entryway is a spacious WC that houses a third sink. With all the space, this felt like a lovely place for a honeymoon suite or romantic getaway.
A beautiful view and a wall full of windows made for a suite bathed in natural sunlight. Waking up and opening the shades feels luxurious here.
I, unfortunately, did not have the time to try the restaurant here, but the space it is in is gorgeous. I did, however, visit the spa. It was small, but lovely, and my massage was expertly arranged by the front desk at very short notice.
An extensive breakfast buffet was served each morning and fresh eggs and omelettes were made by the chef upon request. Of course, I never turn down a French omelette and I can confirm that this one did not disappoint.

I have a feeling no one who stays at Château des Fleurs leaves disappointed. If you like smaller, boutique hotels, but crave the attention to detail of luxury hotels, this is the spot for you. While my suite was more suitable for a couple, there were definitely families staying there as well since the hotel offers great connecting room and family suite options.
